Sosad Mass on Sunday 1 September 2019
Sosad Ireland promotes suicide prevention and awareness and supports those who are bereaved by offering one on one counselling. A Sosad Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 1 September 2019 at 7.00 pm in the Redemptorist Church, Dundalk, to remember those who have lost their lives to Suicide and the families and friends they have left behind. We invite all the rescue services, first responders and local community groups to take part in the Mass. Relatives and friends of those who have been lost are invited to place pictures of their loved ones on the altar if they choose.
Lectio Divina for Newcomers
During this season of Ordinary Time you are invited to meet with the Living Word- Jesus Christ, in the venue of his written word – Scripture. Reading, recognising, responding, resting-in, and reflecting on the Sunday Gospel. The series for Ordinary Time commences on Wednesday, 4 September 2019 and will run consecutively for 5 weeks. There will be a choice of 2 sessions, either Wednesday, 4 September at 11.30am or Thursday, 5 September at 8.15pm.

The Joy of Love in Marriage

Mass in Cathedral on 12 October to mark 80 years of Apostolic Work in Armagh!
To celebrate the 80th year of the work of Apostolic Workers in the Archdiocese of Armagh, Archbishop Eamon Martin will celebrate a special Mass of Thanksgiving in St Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday 12th October at 1pm. Many missionary priests will join for the celebration in the Extraordinary Month of Mission. The organisation was started by Miss Margaret Colgan in 1939 and has provided wonderful support, both financially and materially for the last 80 years. The needs of the Missions are still great and they range from water, food, medicines, education, transport, Churches, Sacred Items, Altar Linens, Vestments etc. All are invited to join as we celebrate this special occasion.
