Death of Fr Charles McCann, Lissan, retired priest of the Archdiocese of Washington, DC, USA

I am sorry to announce the news of the death this morning, 5 July 2024, of Fr Charles McCann. May he rest in peace.
Fr Charles, a native of the Parish of Lissan, was ordained to the priesthood in 1969 for the Archdiocese of Washington, USA. He ministered in America for over forty years before retiring to his native Parish of Lissan where he assisted from time to time in his retirement.
Please remember Fr Charles in your Masses and prayers at this time.
Following are the funeral arrangements:
Remains coming to the Church of St Michael, Lissan, on Saturday afternoon (check Funeral Times re timings);
Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2.00 pm;
