Introducing Connect North Service and Opportunities to Support Our Local Communities

4 Jun 2026

I am writing on behalf of the Connect North Service to introduce our organization and the support we provide within Mid Ulster.

Connect North Service is dedicated to helping individuals and families by aiming to address their social needs and improve their wellbeing. We are committed to working alongside community partners including local churches, to ensure that people can access the support and resources they need.

We would welcome the opportunity to connect with your parishioners. Whether through referrals, community outreach, collaborative initiatives or sharing information about available services, we would be pleased to explore ways we can work together to offer support.

If you would like to learn more about Connect North Service, please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards

Introduction
Many things affect our health and wellbeing.
Social factors such as work, money, housing problems, the challenges of managing long-term conditions or feeling lonely or isolated are just as important to our health and wellbeing as our physical needs
What is Connect North?
Connect North can help to connect you to the right help and support to address these social needs.
This is sometimes called "social prescribing” and our aim is to improve your wellbeing.
Connect North has been designed and developed with our service users.
How can I access information and support?
If you or someone close to you has an internet enabled device you can access information and support directly.
