Seamus Maquire from Aghagallion disappeared in or around Sept 1973/1974.

The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains (ICLVR) has now confirmed that Seamus was disappeared.  As the case falls under ICLVR any information about where Seamus is secretly buried is treated in the strictest confidence.  It cannot be shared with any state body including the PSNI.  By law the information can only be used to recover his remains. The family’s only wish is to lay Seamus to rest.
