Rota for 2021 Christmas Masses within the Parish
20 Dec 2021
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the Church capacity remains reduced to comply with the social distancing guidelines. Some pews in the Church are cordoned off to facilitate social distancing. When attending Mass, families from the same household may sit at one pew together without restrictions. Otherwise there are limited numbers allowed in each pew. You should maintain a safe distance from others at all times.
There will be one Mass on Christmas Eve and two on Christmas Day. The rota below has been drawn up to allow a safe number of parishioners to attend at each Mass.
CHRISTMAS EVE
MASS AT 9PM: Parishioners from Ballymaguigan.
CHRISTMAS DAY
MASS AT 8AM – Parishioners from Derrygarve, Airfield, Aughrim Road, Deerpark Road, Creagh Hill, Hillhead Road, Aughrim Lane & Bannside.
MASS AT 10AM – Parishioners from Creagh, Blackpark Road including housing developments.
Note that the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holydays remains suspended.
It is also important that people who are vulnerable or unwell, especially those with any symptoms that might suggest Covid-19 infection, should stay at home and, if possible, participate via webcam, television or radio.
