Vocations Sunday

Today, 30th April, is Vocations Sunday, a day where we pray in a special way for Vocations to the Priesthood.

 

Today marks the beginning of a ‘Year of Prayer for Diocesan Vocations’ organised by the Irish Bishops in response to the reduced number of seminarians training for the Priesthood.  Please continue to pray for Vocations and encourage your own family on their faith journey in the hope that more may follow God’s call to Priesthood and religious life.

 

We thank God for the seminarians from our Diocese - we look forward to the Ordination to Priesthood of Rev Carlos Esteban Rojo on May 7th, the Ordination to Diaconate of Brian McNally in June and we continue to pray for the 15 other students in formation for the Archdiocese.  Further information can be got on www.armaghpriest.com  as well as on our Armagh Priest social media pages.
