World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims - Sunday, 17th November
16 Nov 2024
Parishes across the Archdiocese are asked to remember Road Traffic Victims on Sunday, 17th November, the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
Please take a few moments to pause and remember anyone you know who has either lost their life or who has suffered or received life changing injuries as the result of a road traffic accident on this year’s World Day of Remembrance.
Prayer of Intercession
Lord, on this World Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Road Traffic Accidents we remember all those who have lost their earthly lives on our roads and all those who have been injured in body and in mind. May those whose earthly lives have been lost as a result of road accidents be brought into the light of your loving presence. We pray for those who have suffered injury as a result of a road crash; those who have suffered permanent injury, and those who care for them. May the Lord strengthen us to support and comfort them; that they may find the hope and peace that comes from God. Lord hear us.
