Events 2022

 

Friday, 25th March is the Feast of the Annunciation. There will be Mass in the church at 10:00 a.m. and the Rosary will be said in the church at 4 p.m.

 

On Friday, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, Pope Francis will lead a ceremony of prayer in Saint Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City, to consecrate and entrust Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

 

In welcoming the Act of Consecration, Archbishop Eamon Martin invites the faithful and all people of goodwill to join with religious, clergy and bishops to pray for peace on this solemn occasion.

The sacrament of Confirmation will be administrated to pupils from St Trea's Primary School on Friday, 29th April at 5pm.


 


 

The celebration of First Holy Communion for pupils of Anahorish Primary School will take place on Saturday, 14th May at 11:00 a.m.


 

 



 

The celebration of First Holy Communion for pupils of St. Trea's Primary School will take place on Saturday, 21st May at 11:00 a.m.

 



 

The sacrament of Confirmation will be administrated to pupils from Anahorish Primary School on Thursday, 26th May at 5pm.


 


 

BALLYMAGUIGAN GAC: BIG BREAKFAST on Sunday 19 June till 12pm.
 
Admission £5 everyone welcome.
 
Fundraiser for U15.5 Derry Peile na nÓg Champions.



 

Cemetery Sunday will take place at St. Trea's Church on Sunday, 19th June at 10:00 a.m.

Weather permitting, Mass will be celebrated in the Church graveyard.
 
Holy Water will be available, or feel free to bring your own.

 


 

A Mass of Thanksgiving will be held in the Church of St. Trea on Monday, 20th June at 7:00 p.m. to mark the 50th Anniversary of Father John Fox's Ordination to the priesthood.

Refreshments afterwards in the Parish Centre.

All are welcome to attend. 


 


 

The Quigan Classic 5k / 10k Race starts on Sunday 7th August 2022 at 12 noon.

 

We will be having a pre-registration evening for all our local runners and families on Saturday 6th from 3-4pm at the club rooms. We encourage all locals to attend this pre-registration to help avoid congestion for the morning of the run.

Race day registrations we will be in the hall Sunday morning from 10.00-11.30.

Please come long and support our Club fundraiser and our chosen charities this year.
 
Refreshments will be available in the hall afterwards.

A Major Whist Drive will be held in St. Trea's Ballymaguigan GAC Clubrooms on Thursday, 24th November at 8pm in memory of the late Nuala Mulholland.

Minimum fee £5, all proceeds in aid of Antrim Area Hospital Renal Unit.
